FindLaw – Findlaw, a business of Thompson Reuters, is a free of charge website aimed at assisting visitors with finding answers to common legal questions. In addition, the site contains links to statutes, legal news, case law and a lawyer directory.

Thomson - West (formerly West Group) – As one of the most predominant publishers of legal materials in the United States, West’s website contains product descriptions and other legal information. The site also provides visitors with customer service, product support and legal news.

U.S. Courts – The website of the United States Courts contains a great deal of information pertaining to the federal court system. The site contains links to the federal courts, rules & procedures of the court, court forms/fees, court records, statistics, educational resources and relevant news stories.

Westlaw – Westlaw is an online legal database used primarily by law students and attorneys. The website’s databases include case law, statutes, treatises, codes, law review, law journals, and other legal information.

Better Business Bureau – The Better Business Bureau (BBB) website gathers information about national and local businesses and informs the public of business practices. The website contains a Better Business Bureau Directory and a search option.

United States Chamber of Commerce - The website of the United States Chamber of Commerce provides a large range of links relating to American businesses and trade associations.

Newspapers Online – Newspapers.com contains a database of local, national, and International newspapers on the internet. Visitors can search for an online newspaper or may browse the “Top 100 Newspapers.”

USA Today - USA Today is distributed in all fifty states and is one of the widest circulated print newspapers in the United States. USA Today also offers an online edition of the newspaper at USAToday.com.

ACLU: Prisoners' Rights – The American Civil Liberties Union, commonly referred to as the ACLU, has developed a “National Prison Project” which is dedicated to ensuring compliance with the Constitution, laws and human rights principals. The ACLU’s website provides articles and links aimed at informing prisoners, and the general public, of the rights of prisoners.

Justice Denied – Justice Denied is a print magazine devoted to issues pertaining to the wrongfully convicted. The Magazine, which was founded in 1998, is also available on the World Wide Web.

The Sentencing Project – Founded in 1968, the Sentencing Project is dedicated to the promotion of a fair and effective criminal justice system. The project aims to promote such a system through reforms to sentencing law – including alternatives to incarceration. Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court and Appeals Court Reports – This resource is the official website of the Reporter of Decisions of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court and the Appeals Court. Mass. Sentencing Guidelines – The Massachusetts Sentencing Guidelines aim to set out a uniform sentencing policy for those convicted of crimes in Massachusetts and are made available online.
